i really hate francois truffaut's direction he's got to be the most boring director with new wave credentials evr everything about adele h. shouldve made it an instant fave but he RUINS IT from ever getting there also im rly anxious and watched it in two halves and had to pause it a lot to mess with my face so idk how affecting any movie is gonna be rn but like........ isabelle adjani and mental illness are just two of the things within the film i can rly relate to thematically how do you f that up (shitty embarrassing nu-commercial direction is how)
